Set Up First Dashboards

Create new dashboards in the workspace, start with templates, and connect them with data.

Create a new dashboard

  1. Open the Workspace in navigation.
  2. Click New Dashboard.
  3. Enter a name and optionally choose a dashboard group, for example "Operations" or "Management".
  4. Confirm with Create.

You can create multiple dashboard groups to separate content by topic or target audience.

Start with a template or build from scratch

Zweigen offers templates for common use cases. Templates give you a usable structure faster than starting from an empty dashboard.

Use a template:

  1. Open the new dashboard in Edit Mode.
  2. Click + Add element and choose a template, or start through Templates in the dashboard menu.
  3. Select a template that matches your data source.
  4. Connect the template with your data source.

All widgets in templates can then be adjusted freely.

Build from scratch:

Choose an empty dashboard if you want to build a specific view without a template. You then add widgets manually through edit mode.

Add a widget and connect it with data

  1. Open the dashboard in Edit Mode (button Edit in the toolbar).
  2. Click + Add element.
  3. Choose a display type, for example line chart or KPI widget.
  4. Choose your data source and the metrics you want to show.
  5. Adjust title and presentation.
  6. Click Save.

The widget appears on the 24-column grid. Size and position can be adjusted freely.

Adjust the time filter

Each dashboard has one global time filter. Click the date range and choose a predefined range, for example the last 30 days, or a custom range.

Individual widgets can differ from the global filter. You configure that directly in the widget settings.

Share the dashboard with the team

  1. Click Share in the dashboard toolbar.
  2. Choose which members or groups should receive access.
  3. Define the access level.
  4. Confirm the sharing action.
