How visualization works in Zweigen
All connected and assigned data can be embedded in dashboard widgets. You combine widgets on a 24-column grid and can freely adjust the size and position of each widget.
Recommendations for getting started
A sensible order when building:
- Define one clear question per dashboard, for example "Which campaigns drive revenue?".
- If a suitable dashboard template is available, use it as the starting point instead of building from zero.
- Identify the most important core metrics and driver metrics and adapt the dashboard accordingly.
Dashboard templates
Zweigen offers templates that let you create dashboards quickly and connect them with your data. Templates can always be adjusted freely.
Overview of widget types
| Widget type | Good for | Typical benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Line chart | Multiple metrics over time | Spot trends week by week or month by month |
| Bar or column chart | Dimensions outside time | Show at a glance what performs better or worse, for example campaign A vs. B |
| Pie or donut chart | Shares of a total | Show how strongly one segment contributes to the whole |
| Polar or radar chart | Structured multi-dimensional comparisons | Compare several aspects of the same question at a glance |
| KPI widget | One metric, sum, or average | Keep important values sharply in view |
| Table widget | Metrics and dimensions in table form | Analyze in depth and show causes |
| Text widget | Explanations inside the dashboard | Keep context, notes, or decisions next to the numbers |
