Important terms used in Zweigen
This glossary creates shared understanding across teams working in Zweigen.
Organization
An organization connects all members through one shared workspace, shared data management, and shared settings.
Account
Every member works through a personal account. Account-specific settings and preferences are managed in the extended menu.
Dashboard
Dashboards are used to visualize data stored in Zweigen. They offer flexible display, customization, and interaction options.
Element
Elements are placed on the dashboard grid. They include charts, tables, text, and other display types. Size, position, and presentation are highly configurable.
Integration
An integration is an automated connection to an external system. It is established via OAuth authentication or API credentials.
After authentication, Zweigen can import and process selected data automatically.
Custom API
Zweigen provides custom API connectivity so teams can connect internal systems and transfer selected data automatically.
Data source
Stored data in Zweigen is organized by data source.
Each integration is a separate data source. Each automated connection is stored as its own source.
For CSV/XLSX uploads, teams can update an existing data source instead of creating a new one.
