All data in Zweigen is stored and processed exclusively on servers within the EU. No dataset leaves the EU.
Infrastructure location
Zweigen infrastructure is hosted in Germany. This applies to every platform component: database, file storage, compute, and network communication. There are no exceptions for certain regions or use cases.
Relevance for GDPR
EU hosting is one of the technical foundations for running Zweigen in a GDPR-compliant way. GDPR requires that personal data is transferred only to countries with an adequate level of data protection. Because all data stays in Germany, this requirement is met without additional measures.
Subprocessors
Zweigen uses only subprocessors based in the EU. There are no subprocessors with data access outside the EU. The full list of subprocessors is available in the privacy policy.
